Summer is Loading: Elounda’s Main Beach is Getting Ready!
It is the sight we have all been waiting for! The heavy machinery has officially rolled onto Schisma (Elounda main beach) to kick off the final preparations for the summer season.
After a quiet winter, the bulldozers are currently hard at work leveling out the sand, smoothing the shoreline, and clearing away the off-season debris. As you can see in the latest photo, the very first sunbeds are already being staged along the waterfront.
With the sun shining and the waters of the Mirabello Bay looking as calm and inviting as ever, it is only a matter of days before the beach is fully organized, pristine, and ready for those long, lazy beach days.
